Ancient wisdom for the woman who is done piecing it together.
I'm Nina, a Board-Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, herbalist & chef.
founder of Living Ayurveda Hawai'i, Wild Woman Collective & Nina Cucina
I help women in Hawai'i return to rhythm with their bodies, their intuition, and the earth through the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, seasonal living, and genuine community.
This work is for the woman who knows something needs to shift. Who is done outsourcing her health to whoever has the loudest wellness account this week. Who is ready to stop starting over and start going deep.
The medicine you've been looking for is closer than you think.
What Is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is an ancient earth-based science of self-healing, rooted in the wisdom of nature and passed down through generations for over 5,000 years. The word Ayurveda means “the knowledge of life” — not just life in general, but your life. It invites you into a deeper relationship with your body, your cycles, your emotions, and the world around you.
At its core, Ayurveda teaches us that healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken — it’s about remembering your innate wholeness and aligning with the rhythms of nature. This system recognizes that you are a unique expression of the elements, and true wellness begins when you live in harmony with your own internal landscape.
We honor the body, mind, and spirit as one whole — woven together. Using simple yet powerful tools like food as medicine, daily rituals, plant allies, seasonal cleansing, and rest, we bring balance back where there has been excess or depletion.
In Ayurveda, we say “like increases like, and opposites bring balance.” This means we learn to tend to ourselves with the wisdom of contrast — cooling what is overheated, nourishing what is depleted, grounding what is scattered. It’s not a rigid set of rules. It’s a living relationship with life itself.
